Calls taking a lot of time to connect

Calls taking a lot of time to connect

Problem

When making an outbound call, there is an initial loading time of 20 to 30 seconds before the other end starts ringing.

Solution

WebRTC uses a process called "ICE candidate gathering" to establish an audio connection between the caller and the source. The STUN server we use which enables this process is stun:stun.l.google.com:19302. Please contact your internal IT support person and ask them to make sure that there is no firewall rule that will block traffic to and from the Google STUN URL.

Contact Support

If none of the solutions solved your issue, please contact us on support@taskflow.co.za and provide us with as much information as possible. Also indicate to us through which articles you have gone through in the troubleshooting guide.
